Young’s Fish Ltd are a family run business of three generations based in Ipswich, Suffolk. We have been serving the people of Suffolk & Essex fresh fish and shellfish for over thirty five years.

Our head buyer has worked in the industry since the 80’s and  we pride ourselves on being able to offer the best quality fish at the most reasonable price. We are also suppliers for retail and catering!

We pride ourselves on giving each customer a personal service.  We want to go the ‘extra mile’ & we are happy to fully prepare, gut or fillet fish and to give advice on best cooking practices.

Wholesale

As well as selling direct to the public at market, we are also suppliers to the retail and catering industries.

We offer a wide range of fresh local, sustainable fish alongside exotics from all corners of the globe. We source our more traditional fish from all around the country, from Peterhead, Cornwall, Grimsby, Lowestoft and Cromer.

We also buy directly from Billingsgate Market. Our vans leave at midnight to ensure we have the freshest, finest product possible for the day ahead. 

Chelmsford High St Market

Located in the heart of Chelmsford High Street, we are directly opposite the EE shop next to H&M.

 

We are here every Tuesday, Friday & Saturday from 8.00am till 3:00pm

Colchester High St Market

Located in Colchester High Street, we are directly outside the HSBC shop in the town centre.

 

We are here every Friday from 8.00am till 3:00pm

Ipswich Market

Located on the High Street near The Ipswich Town Hall & the corn exchange.

 

We are here every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 8.00am till 3:00pm

How Do We Keep Our Fish Fresh?

We have a fleet of temperature controlled vans to ensure that all products are kept at their correct temperature and we have freezers on each stall to store our frozen lines.
